Drawings of the INFERNO

The "Commedia" is an intensely personal journey. It's author, Dante Alighieri, finds himself lost in a terrible wood and faces mortal peril.
He is rescued by Virgil, the Roman poet and Dantes' literary mentor.
Virgil reveals to Dante that the only way out, is THROUGH.

And THROUGH means passage through the very heart of hell and all that it contains.

And we, ourselves, follow Dante right into THE PLACE!

These drawings are meant to capture the essence of a particular Canto or passage.
They aspire to form a bridge from Dantes' time to ours as Dantes' themes are eternal AND because every individual must determine, by free will,

IN EVERY MOMEMENT OF HIS LIFE,

his CHOICE in ACTION.

And as the result of that CHOICE, will a always exist the constant struggle between right and wrong.
